Global strings not updated

I have an issue with the "edit Global Stings" tool; I have altered a couple of entires to represent their German and Italian translations.
The project is built with the German option selected in the project tool, all the changes I have made in the translation tool have worked apart from the global strings, is there anything I should be doing to enable this feature?

Which entries failed?

The following entries failed to translate:
"Yes"
"No"
"The InstallAware Wizard is verifying the contents of this setup package. This might take a moment."
"InsallAware is preparing the InstallAware Wizard which will install this application. Please wait."

The translated entry of :"Are you sure you want to cancel?" translates. Any help will be much appreciated.

I assume that you see the Windows standard dialogs here. The language depends on your installed Windows.

This is displayed on startup of your setup, right? IA automatically uses the language configured in your regional settings.
To test your translation, either install on a German or Italian Windows or change your regional settings.

Hello,

I have exactly the same Problem.
If you click Cancel on a Dialog, the MessageBox "Are you sure you want to cancel?" appears.
I have a german Windows installation.

Is there any way to translate this?

Thanks in advance...

Seems this string is indeed hard coded.

I use IA8 and I'm sure it is possible to translate almost 100% strings (except strings in message buttons like "yes", "no")and you probably don't have to change windows regional settings. in your InstallAware dir, you will find folder "trans" which allows to localize shared strings.

Furthermore, when you build your setup, it is desired to build it completely in english first, and translate at the very end. This will lead you to tranlations without problems.

I know it because I've been doing this from two-three days in my setup as well. I designed all setup with nearly all strings in my native (polish) language, but when I opened translation tool I realized that was wrong way. But now it's almost finished and my setup works very nice :)

Correct. The global strings translation tool lets you translate all shared strings across setups.

Sorry, my fault, you're both right. :)
Installed 8.01 and forgot to update my global strings, oh dear!
