Upgrading Wise installation when only PackageCode is known

Hi,

We're evaluating InstallAware for the next release of one of our products. We have quite a few installations released now, and we want the new installation to uninstall any previous installation. The problem is that the ProductCode is different for each installation, and we don't have a full list of all ProductCodes for released installers. We do however know the UpgradeCodes, which we have only changed for major upgrades (e.g. 1.0->2.0). In Wise we used the Upgrade table to define which versions to upgrade, but that's not possible in InstallAware.

The Uninstall MSI command in InstallAware requires the ProductCode. So my question is, is there any way of locating the ProductCode(s) of installed products from an UpgradeCode?

I think there was a free plug-in on the Plug-Ins section of this forum (or maybe this section) for obtaining the product code from the upgrade code. A user with InstallShield Express needed to do the same thing. So you can just use that plug-in (thanks a lot to our user who donated it!), and convert the upgrade code form to the product code form.

Thanks for the fast answer. I found the UpgradeCode plugin and it does exactly what I needed.

I did search the forums before posting, but it must have missed the UpgradeCode plugin.
