Hi there,

I'm having the same problem here. In my case, I'm running the setup from C: and when MSICode reaches the Apply Install line, the message pops up.

"A network error ocurred while attempting to read from the file: C:\\PCFServer\\Release\\Uncompressed\\PCFClientInstaller.msi"

The MSI file IS there, but the installer is not being able to read from it.

The error message is attached.
Can anybody help me understanding what's going on?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Neillans!

What kind of log could I submit?

Thanks for the help!

If you run your setup with logging enabled, you can submit the file to us for further investigation.

I'm not being able to reproduce this error at this moment, but I'll surely post the log here when that error happens again. By the way, can I enable setup logging as a default for my product installation, or should I always run my installation through the command-line and using the parameter /l=<path>?

Thank you very much, Neillans!

OK, I created a new project for testing purposes and the error just popped-up once again. The log is attached.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found out that, in my case, that was happening because of the inexistence of the DFM dialog files in my project folder. I'm pretty sure this problem happens within some other scenarios as well. I'll be back when I have something new.

Thank you very much.
