Hi,
When i install an application the progres messages that are displayed seems to be generated by the installaware itself. Can i override these messages with my custom messages for each Install Files command. I have tried everything and i am not able to find a solution. please help me.

Once Apply Install is called, native Windows Installer progress messages will be shown. What you can do is customize the progress dialog, such that it contains a custom progress field, which you write to from your main script.

Note that commands in purple, such as Install Files, do not have any effect until Apply Install is called (see the help file topic Classes of Commands for more info). So the MSIcode script will fly right past those commands, with their actual application occurring only at the Apply Install command.
