Hello,

im building an exe, and from that a MSI package.

I have included an exefile which installs a driver, and i am running it through the "Run Programs" option, where it is set to not to wait for exit, and hide program window.

This works fine when i just execute my msi package, but when i try to run it silently with the /qn option, my driver doesnt get installed, it seems that the program defined in "Run Programs" does not actually run in silent (/qn) mode... Am i doing something wrong here, and what?

Am i the only one experiensing this, or have noone else tried... ?

to test if it is trying to launch under silent install, you could change the program to run to say notepad.exe at least you know it's running the command then. Never tried silent installs my self though
