What happend to my license?

I've read in another thread that i have to backup the files i downloaded when i bought my license (IA 6.4 or so, some months ago).
I missed to do so!
The only file i kept ist the IA "mycompany" license.exe file.
After a computer crash i downloaded the current release (7) and tried to append the license file, which doesn't work.
What can i do now?
