Cannot get InstallAware MSIcode debugging in IDE

I have set the the "Project Options" dialog Build/Debug Build to "checked", (Project tab) "Single File" to rebuild, but I still get this message:
"Please make a debug build of your project before running it in the IDE. Remember to refresh your build whenever you change your setup files and script."
What else do I have to do to allow me to go into the MSIcode "debug" mode?

This is only a guess, if I am wrong, send your project files and I will take a look to them. My guess is that you are using one build type and you are trying to debug another one. Do the following:
Select Deployment-->Build Settings in the tree view of the design tab.
In there select your build type, and make sure you check the "Debug Build" checkbox.

Thanks for looking at this.
I took the standard InstallAware sample "Creating IIS Websie and Virtual Folders" example and turned on the "Debug" flag: But I still can't debug in the IDE.
Attached is the file.

I selected "attach" last time, but it appeared to not take. I will "attach" again. Are there restrictions on the attached file type? I will rename the .zip file to .zop.

I tried to attach again, but didn't seem to take.
I'm now trying to upload it from a machine running IE6.

I see no visual sign this file has been uploaded successfully. Can you please let me know what I should do to upload this file?
Alternatively, all I did to to the off-the-CD project was change the "debug" flag to TRUE; so, could you post a copy of that off-the-CD project with the debug flag to TRUE (that can works in the IDE debugger)?

Click at "Design" tab , then "Deployment Section"->"Build Settings", check "Debug Build" with Uncompressed Build selected. Rebuild on Uncompressed Build, then run with Debug button.

Hi Panagiotis,
Thanks for the reply.
I followed your steps and here are my results:
1.) Copied the "Createing IIS websites and Virtual Folders" CD sample into a directory
2.) Ran the "setup debugging/build with debugging" steps you outlined.
I re-ran the identical test 12 times (each time with a fresh copy of the CD sample directory).
Two of those 12 times, the debugger worked correctly (allowed me to step through code).
Ten of those 12 tests, the debugger failed to function (giving me the message about needing to build/run in debug mode).
I've attached a new screenshot showing the steps.
Thoughts on why I appear to be getting this behavior with the IDE debugger?

I also just tried uninstalling InstallAware, the reinstalling it.
==> same problem (cannot run in "debug" with the InstallAware IDE debugger)
