MSI, GPO, installing when added to AD

Hi
I'm on IA 6.22, and thinking of upgrading to 7.
Can anyone tell me if the bug described in http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2151 has been fixed?
It's the one where the msi starts to install on the server as soon as it's added to the AD. Even though I've added a workround to stop it actually installing, it still goes through the preliminaries. It's very irritating to some of our customers, and it's one of the main things I'd like to fix by upgrading.
