I've been trying (more than I want to say) to connect to a MYSQL data base on my sites hosting server across the INTERNET. I've gotten no where with it.

I can connect to a localhost DB, I can connect to a DB on my intranet, but not across the internet. Is this possible or not?

Thx,

Austin

Note, this is NOT a Windows based server, it is Apache running on Linux. (Like almost all hosting companies around the world are.)
