$TARGETDIR$ adding extra \\

$TARGETDIR$ is adding an extra slash after Program Files. If I select "C:\\Program Files\\My Product" as my install folder $TARGETDIR$ is returning "C:\\Program Files\\\\My Product\\" not "C:\\Program Files\\My Product\\" as it should (unless I'm missing something). I have the code below:

Code: Select all

Run Program $WINDIR$Microsoft.NET\\Framework\\v2.0.50727\\Regasm.exe $TARGETDIR$WindImageAM.dll /codebase /nologo /tlb (WAIT)
MessageBox: test, "$TARGETDIR$WindImageAM.dll"
I couldn't figure out why Regasm wasn't generating the tlb file. The messagebox brought the issue to light showing the extra slash.

Is this a known bug? I was strongly considering buying the program, but I need to get my install working first.

CBiggerstaff,

The problem is that you have "$PROGRAMFILES$\\My Product" as the Target Folder. Try changing that to "$PROGRAMFILES$My Product" as $PROGRAMFILES$ variable contains a leading back slash.
