Extracting web media error

Hello all
I received a recent, (pleasantly detailed
) support request from a potential customer. So in this case probably the best thing to do is quote as below. I searched on this issue and only had 1 hit which involved 2 suggestions ...
Firstly the mandatory issue with regard to the web media block having an identical name to that requested for download. This software has been downloaded over 5000 times with a similar number of succesful installs, so I don't think it's that.
Secondly, a mention has previously been made of the requirement for the client machine to have at least .NET v 2 installed for InstallAware to work.
Is this last point correct ? and are there any other issues you can think of which could relate to this error ?

many thanksI'd like to try the demo version of your software (6.55 version) but everytime I start the installation it ends with a dialog "Retry Extraction?" saying that "Extracting installation data downloaded from the web has failed" and offering either "Download a fresh copy of the installation data" or "Try to extract the existing download data again". However, both options lead to the same dialog again. On the installation screen below the dialog, I can see that it hangs up when extracting "yoursoftware.hlp" and that 84% are complete.
I've tried the installation both on my home desktop and office laptop (both using WinXP Pro SP2), with firewall Comodo Pro, with Windows Firewall and without any firewall, but the result is always the same.
