InstallAware

I want to know if it's possible to point InstallAware to a certain part of the registry and tell it to search a branch of the registry and all its values until it finds a set of values or a value.
and then use that value to go to another portion of the registry and change its values.
I need to do this because the program is a driver for a device.. and the registry randomly makes new branches for the newly installed device.
(but a definite certain part of the registry has info to get to those branches so i can configure them)
so i'm wondering... can this be done with installaware?

I would also like to know if this is posible to do in installaware.

IA only reads a specified value in the registry, it does not have search capabilities through the registry.
