Update does not download

I've created an install and would like it to update when I have a new version. It appears I've done everything correctly including specifying the URL for the update in the INI file. Everything seems to work. I get an icon in the system tray indicating an update is available. I click to download the update but immediately it says the update is ready to install which is impossible since it's a couple megs and it couldn't download that fast. When I click the icon, there are no downloads listed for installation and it fails. I've followed the installaware_web_updates.pdf and I have no idea why the update doesn't download. I've copied and pasted the download URL into a browser and it works fine. The program just doesn't download it. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

My Bad

I figured it out. My company won't allow an INI file on the server so I had to configure it as a text file. I ended up changing references to updates.ini to updates.txt in the script. After careful review of the script, I realized that was wrong and changed it back to updates.ini and that fixed things.

The instructions on how to create an update are not as clear as they could be. It takes some time to figure out what's supposed to be in the INI file along with the settings that are required as far as versioning goes. The script can also be confusing even for an experienced developer such as myself with over 11 years of development experience. But, like everything else, once you get the hang of it, you look back and realize that most of your mistakes were obvious.
