Installaware and Vista

Just upgraded from 7 to 8 - been delighted with 7. Not interested at all in Vista, but my installation registers 3 activex modules, and users have found that they must turn off UAC before the installation works on Vista machines. Some users have said that the installation itself won't start, others have reported that it installs ok, but the 3 modules have failed to register and they have to use REGSVR32.
What must I do to get my installation to work on Vista machines without the user having to worry about UAC. Please assume that I know very little about Vista, elevated status or UAC. Preferably I just want to click an option in InstallAware that does everything for me
