InstallAware 8 Sample SQL Connection Project does not work

I have recently upgraded from version 7 to version 8. I noticed that the SQL connection stopped working in one of my setups. So, I tried creating a new sample project and testing it by itself. It did not work!
I can log in all day using SQL Express Management Studio by either SQL or Windows Authentication. Any ideas?
