I'm creating an installer for a reasonably trivial project.

Each build type, uncompressed, single or web all crash when run with error:

Works fine in debug. Installer built on Vista. Tested on vista and XP.

OK, figured it out. Pretty sure it's a bug in IA8.

Adding an Icon to a project, whether my own or a sample project, IRREVOCABLY destroys the project. The resultant installer will give errors ranging from "Application failed to Initialize" to "Not a vaid Win32 application."

When adding the Icon, I get errors ranging from "Parameter Incorrect" to "Out of Resources". The Icons are being used elsewhere and are fine.

The real rub is that taking the Icon back out using the project manager doesn't cure the problem. If you don't have a backup, you have to start again.
