Currently we are using IA 6.6
We need to add the .NET 2.0 Framework with SP1.
But only .NET 2.0 is available in the 'application runtimes' list.

Is there a way to download this redistibutable package so i can select it in the list of 'application runtimes' ??
or is there an update package available for 6.6 ?

I have the same problem, but opposite. I'll post under this thread so the IA support folks can answer both our questions at once.

I am evaluating IA8. My app requires the .NET Framework 2.0, but not any service packs. When I choose "Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0" from the Application Runtimes list, I cannot build the setup. I get a script error stating that the .NET Framework plugin is not available on my system. It suggests using the Change option under Add/Remove Programs for IA8, but this option does not show the .NET 2.0 Framework without any service packs.

How can I get the .NET 2.0 Framework without any service packs plug-in in IA8? The plug-in is listed in the Application Runtimes list, but I cannot find any way to actually get the plug-in.

I found this link:

http://www.installaware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=307

But the setup I downloaded from there requires a password and none is given on that page.

I take it back - I also need .NET 2.0 with SP1. But in my case only the .NET 2.0 with SP2 plug-in works. How can I, like Ton_B, get the .NET 2.0 with SP1 plug-in?

Its easy! Just run InstallAware setup again, and add in the missing plug-ins from the setup window. Its all specified right there.

If I run the setup (version 6.6 from July 7th 2007) And select the .Net plugin it sais this pluging supporyts the following versions:
1.0, 1.1, 1.1 with Service Pack 1, 2.0, and 3.0

2.0 with SP 2 is not available.
Not really strange, because this service pack was released on Noveber 20th 2008.

How can i fix this?

As I said before, I'm using IA 6.6

Ah, you need to use InstallAware 8 then!
