Application Runtimes for 64 bit windows?

Hi there,

I am trying to create a 64-bit version of an installer, having set the check box for 64-bit operating system I expected the Application Runtimes to reference their 64-bit counterparts but it seems this is not the case?

Am I right in concluding that I have to handle all 64-bit pre-requisites manually? (.NET Framework, Windows Installer, SQL Express etc)

Thanks for your assistance,
Bruce

there is a new package for installaware 8 that have .NET framework 3.5 SP1 and another runtimes- for 64 bit aplications.
its in "New Runtime Update Pack for Visual Studio 2008 Runtimes" Sticky.

sorry by my poor English
best regards

Thanks for that, I do have the 2008 runtime pack but it would be nice if other common runtimes like Windows Installer 4.5, SQL Express etc were to target 64-bit when you specify 64-bit OS..

Cheers,
