Progress feedback when running program

I have an installation where I am calling several programs (developed in .NET) silently. Do I have any possibility to receive feedback from these programs?
I know that I can write a plugin in native Win32 language (http://forums.installaware.com/viewtopi ... e2acd58e55) and let this plugin receive feedback from my .NET program. However, this seems complicated. A simpler solution should be if I can write progress messages to a text file, registry key, memory mapped file etc and InstallAware was able to refresh a dialog with this information.

Hi danielb,

did you get it managed to write a native dll + a .net program/dll and let them communicate together ?
If yes, would it be possible to send me some example code ?

The thing is, i am trying to develop a Plugin, written in .Net with the use of the NETBridgeProject - but i cannot get it working. The Plugin is called & and executed, but i fail passing variables back to IA.

Hi,

The .NET Plug-In bridge has been updated. Try downloading it again.
