Cancel hangs the installer indefinitely

The subject says it all - when I click Cancel on any of my installer dialogs, the installer hangs indefinitely immediately following the "Are you sure you want to cancel?" messagebox (where does that MB come from, but the way?).
Theories?
IA8 Studio, in case it matters.
Edit: The WriteLog plug-in appears to be the cause. Removing a call to WriteLog immediately before the Terminate Installation action lets the installer terminate properly. Time to rip that plug-in out throughout this project, it seems.
