How to completely disable web media blocks feature

I have a set of 'features' - the installer wants to create web media blocks for each 'feature' I create. How can I easily disable this? I have set them to 'do not build' but I want to not even have this in the install - the installer seems to require them(?).

There is no need to completely disable them in code. In fact, the compiler requires at least one web media block to compile. However, web media blocks are used ONLY when you do web builds.

With an uncompressed or single file build, web media blocks are ignored. You can therefore relax and not have to worry about setting them to not build.

But it won't let me ignore them - won't build now

I am doing an uncompressed build and it says it 'requires at least one web xxx' to build. So I have them all defined, and I get the following:

Cleared output folder C:\\Users\\...\\New Project\\Release\\Uncompressed\Built plug-in action (Un)Install MSI Setup
Error during build: At least one Web Media Block must be defined before installation commands that may require media

Defining a empty media block at script top fixed it

Changing the Icon seems to be what causes this problem

I changed the icon and somehow the project lost the part of the script that had the dummy web media block that I had defined at the top to work around this bug.. and thus the build failed again. So I added a dummy block at the top again. That does leave an unnecessary 'dummy folder' on my install CD for the uncompressed install, also.

I guess I'd call this a bug of some sort, unless this is some sort of 'feature'?

The icon change has nothing to do with web media blocks or scripts, unless you can provide us with definitive steps that reproduce the issue, I am inclined to think you deleted the web media block but didn't realize what you were doing at the time.

The build folders are indeed structured after web media blocks, these are innate to the compiler.
