Hi,

I need to run a program using redirection or a pipe like this

Program.exe < TextFile.txt or

Type TextFile.txt | Program.exe

I used IA command run program but it isn't working. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a alternative?

I might be able to help up to a point.

MyApp.exe OriginalFile.pdf works, but:

MyApp.exe < qqq.txt which contains the same single argument does not. In other words, < redirection does not work in my example.

If you need to get the arguments to your program from an external file you can read the file using MSI code Read from Text File into a variable and then pass the variable as the argument to your program using Run Program or Run Program As.

you can also first write to a textfile (*.bat) what you want to do, and then execute the batch.
