MS SQL Instances Plug-in Error

I'm currently evaluating InstallAware 8 trying to move away from InstallShield. I have run into an issue with the Detect MS SQL Instances plug-in.

I searched the forum and found a post, about 9 months ago, with the exact same issue I have but it was never responded to by the InstallAware support staff. The lack of support is rather disturbing from a potential new user perspective. I hope someone can answer it now as it would solve my issue as well. Thanks.

The following script line causes a fatal install error:
Detect MS SQL Instances : get result into variable AVAILABLESERVERS

This Problem is also under new "Project--> MS SQL Server Connection"

ErrorMSG: Runtime error in setup script: Line 38 '' is not a valid integer value

This issue has been responded to, and we have even worked with some customers in testing the updates to this plug-in.

May I suggest you try to research harder before jumping into conclusions.

Could you kindly take the time to provide a link to the fix?

That way when users search and find this topic they don't hit a dead end.

We worked with select responders in resolving the issue, there is no public fix yet unfortunately. As soon as it is live, I'll post it.
