InstallAware

I have replaced the translation.German file in the trans directory where the Shared Strings translation files are located with one that has been translated. When i open the translation tool they show up correctly in there, but when i build my installer and try to intall it uses the old strings still. are these strings cached somewhere else? Is there a way to refresh the strings without me having to open the translation tool and update all of the strings in there?
