No, I think you are using the wrong password.

You emailed me the password..i copy and paste it and nothing...same problem...why the pass should have this strange unicode character, and space. can i post it so you can see if it is right?

We're aware that on some systems the password gets corrupted into unicode - we will have the fixed versions of files ready for download with new passwords very soon.

Hi!

I also had this problem. But i was able to outcome this. You can open the Big "InstallAware_9_With_Runtimes.exe" file with 7zip manager (can download it freely) and then unzip all files and folders into some temp folder. 7zip will ask for password, copy paste the password from e-mail. This way hellped me to install the IA.

Have a nice day!

We're very sorry for this problem - InstallAware 9.02 uses characters without diacritics in the password, so this issue has also now been resolved.

Was this problem caused by the password used for the InstallAware 9.01 installation package, itself, or was it caused by a problem in InstallAware 9.01? I ask because we are using IA 9.01 and one of our recent nightly builds of our installer is giving this error - "Download corrupt, please obtain a fresh copy of this file."

We do not use a password to protect our installer. This error does not occur when you first run the afflicted installer, but rather when you try to run it or any other build of our installer after having installed the affected nightly build.

Is there an issue in IA 9.01 that could have caused this? Will upgrading to IA 9.02 prevent this from happening again?

Thanks.

This is an unrelated issue.

Do you know what might cause this to happen? Our last two nightly builds have this problem. You can install them, but if you try to launch the installer again after installing - "Download corrupt."

The only thing that changed in our InstallAware project is the product version and revision code in the MPR file.
