Patch updates for original user only

Hi, We've been using InstallAware with great satisfaction for a couple of months now, but are running into some problems and can't seem to figure it out. Maybe someone will be able to spot what I'm doing wrong...
I install my application as one user, then run an update Patch as another user. The update finishes successfully, but does not update my application. If I run the update as the original user, the Patch runs and updates my application.
I'm increasing the ProductVersion in IA and my dll's, changing the RevisionCode, and running as administrator. Any ideas why this might be happening?
