Compiler variable in title and languages

I have a project in which I've set the title to a compiler variable within hashes so that I can create installers for the same software but with different names. I have several translations for this project. I ran into a small issue with this in that the translations would not work at all, I didn't get the dialog where you get to pick which language to use.
I figured out a work around for this. There is a file called #PRODUCTNAME#.mtx (as I've set in the title field in the options) which is related to the translations. I found that I need to copy this file to each value I put in that variable, for example if I make "MyGreatSoftware" I will need to copy the .mtx file to MyGreatSoftware.mtx in order to get the languages.
I'm not sure if this should be considered a bug report, public service announcement or simply an admission from my side that I'm doing something stupid but maybe it can be useful to someone so that's why I'm posting this
