How do I know what version of IA I'm using?

I just downloaded what I thought was v9.06 and upgraded from (I think) v9.01. After completing the installation, when I look at the splash screen in IA by clicking on the "Version" button on the "Project" ribbon, I see "InstallAware 9 (Build sliders.rtm.042009)." Looking at my signature on this forum, this appears to be identical to what I was using before. How do I know if I'm running 9.06 verses any of the other v9 releases?

It sounds like you installed the right trial version, but did not install the updated license file. Please follow the instructions in your license delivery email for upgrades - you have to regenerate your license to keep it in sync with your trial version.

I would recomend adding the actual version number to the splash screen. With just the internal version number/name (sliders.rtm.042009) it is difficult to know if that is 9.01, 9.02, 9.03, etc.

Version numbers are now also visible from Control Panel Add-Remove Programs on Vista and higher. For downlevel platforms, your request is sensible and will be taken into consideration.

Ah, OK, thanks. I didn't know that you have to regenerate a new license installer for every minor revision. That's good to know.
