Hi all,

I have an issue which really disturbs me.
I’ve created some plug-ins and I drag them easily to the miscode. I’ve followed carefully the Plug-In Authoring steps and all works fine.
The registry keys are written correctly

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\MimarSinan\\InstallAware\\2.0\\Plug-Ins\\PSWPortScan]

@="D:\\\\Program Files\\\\InstallAware\\\\InstallAware 9\\\\Plug-Ins\\\\PSWPortScan\\\\PSWPortScanIDE.dll"

"Action"="PSWPortScan"
"Execute"="PSWPortScanEXE.dll"
"Script"="PSW Port Scan"

The issue I encountered is when I try my setup in a Virtual machine (see enclosed the dialogs) the error message displayed.

When I click on Cancel, here is the second one

But when I try the installer in debug mode, all works perfectly fine.

Any idea?

Hi,

We have also received a support incident for this case, and will continue to deal with it there. :)
