I'm having a problem with an older ActiveX Dll during the install; I have a .tlb file and other registration information; is there some way to tell installaware to install this component 'manually' using that information?

For some reason regsvr32 doesn't always work any more on the dll, but if it's manually registered (registry entries and such) it works fine (3rd party COM object).

You will need to use the Regtlib program that Microsoft provides with Visual Studio (and some other things) to register the type library.
