Can I somehow force an automatic update to happen?

So if I'm in my application can sde, aha there is an new update, then I restart the application when I'm in an appropriate state and restarts the application but before the application is being rebooted it is automatically updated by Installaware.

Or something near it, is this possible?

Does no one have any knowledge if this is possible or if there is any similar solution with Installaware

Hmm - one possible way is to call your installer cache file with the /update parameter.

That should force it ...

OR

You will need to modify your update logic to allow you to call into it somehow.
