Hi,

Firt of all sorry to post in the forum. I've tried to open a support ticket but I haven't any answer (since october 26).
The mail I use for the support is [email protected]
Is it the good mail to open a support ticket ?

I have a bug with the NEEDSUPGRADE command under 7 x64 and Server 2008 R2.
For My Setups in 64 bit mode, when I try to install a new release, I’ve got the message to uninstall previous version, I click Next and after I have the message indicates that REMOVEOLD equals ERROR in the script.
With the same setup, under windows Vista 64 bit, I don’t have any problem.
With my Setups that are not in 64 bit mode, I have no problems either (under Windows 7 x64 or Windows Server 2008 R2)

To put my setups in 64 bit mode I use this code :

Get System Setting Windows in 64 bit Mode into WIN64
Get System Setting Processor Architecture into PROCESSOR
if Variable WIN64 Equals TRUE
if Variable PROCESSOR Equals IA64
Set Itanium ia64 - Native 64 bit Windows, Intel Itanium Architecture - installation mode
else
Set x64 - Native 64 bit Windows, AMD64 and EM64T Architectures - installation mode
end
end

Thanks
AH-NP

First off, please accept my apologies for the lack of response to your email to goldsupport; I am sorry to say that it does not appear to have arrived in the mailbox :(

As for the 2008R2 issue, we have identified a problem with regards to R2 editions, which should be resolved in the next Service Pack.

Ok !

Do you know when the service Pack should be available ?

Thanks

My application installer fails to upgrade from previous versions under Windows 7 x64 as well.

Is there any update on the service pack you've mentioned?
