New Harddisk. All files in patch

Hello, we had to get our selves a new hardisk and aslo installed w7 on it. Ever since Installaware puts all the files into the patch.

Is there a way to work arround this.

Or is there any way to say to installaware "hey my patchfiles are over there" so that installaware just builds the patch using these files in stead of comparing to the references.

I already made a small program in order to adjust the timestamp of the new created directories , but this does not seem to work.

A lot of our customers now have to donload a large patch.

Thanks for your help.

Hi.

You could try the following to solve the problem.

- Set the compiler variable NOHARDLINKS=TRUE
- Set the compiler variable LONGCOMPONENTS=TRUE
- Enable "Include whole files only" in the patch settings (project options)

You can also enable the "Leave debug files" option to read the logfile of the build process.

Hope this helps.

Best regards.
