Restart Required after Patch install

There is dialog which says " You must restart your system for the configuration chnages made to Product to take effect. Click Yes to restart now or No if you plan to manually restart later". Can any suggest how to disable this message. I have set REBOOTCOMPUTER to false after Apply Patch command. This was suggested in some 2007 topic thread.
