How to include MS hotfix to install?

I need to include the MS VC++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable ATL Security Update described in KB973544 as part of my install (8.0.50727.4053).

I believe the VC++ 2005 merge module supplied by IA is only 8.0.50727.1833 (or possibly 3053).

Is an updated merge module available from IA (and if so, how can I get it)?

If not available, how can I include the KB973544 update directly?

I believe I am running the latest IA 9 (Build Moya.sp1.061309).

Thanks,

Aaron

FYI at a prior company we ran into the fact that legally you couldn't redistribute an MS Hotifx. So the best thing to do is to include a script line or some code that can run on your target that will launch on the target machine, download the hotfix from Microsoft (you can screen-scrape the html of the download page to get the exact location), and then use msiexec to install the hotfix - that is legal because it's being done on the client's machine.

That works unless ms updates the URL for that particular hotfix, which normally only happens when they update the hotfix, for which you'd have to update your install anyway.
