Help with Patches

 I am having a really big problem with patches.

1. I create my master setup, Copy it to a new folder and use it as my patch reference.
2. I modify a single file (executable), and place it in my applications project folder.
3. I change my project properties to increase the version number by 1.
3. I create a patch, along with the new version and update file etc...
4. There is absolutely no reference to any other previous setups other than that mentioned in step #1.
5. I build the patch. It takes about 45 mins.
6. When I check for a new version 'mySetup.exe /update', it finds, downloads and installs the patch file.
7. Only, no changes have been made to the target machine.
8. Recreated the patch numerous times using numerous settings but to no avail.
9. Found out yesterday, about retaining log files, so I turned this option on.
10. When I examine the log file, it shows a list of 112 files that make up the patch file.
11. The patch file also does not contain my new executable.
12. None of the 112 file have been modified in any way whatsoever.

Naturally, I am very concerned, how is installaware interpreting that these files have changed.

I would be rally obliged if anybody has got any ideas. :?

If you are not on v9 R2, but are on v9, enter in a compiler variable definition NOHARDLINKS=TRUE.
