If I change my default InstallPath in destination dialog by cklicking on Change Button (Select Target Folder Function) I get the short path displayed after returning from browse folder dialog to destination dialog (see attached picture).
My Boss wants to see the normal path, what can I do or could you fix this?

Did you take a look at the Convert Path function?

I know this function, but how should I trigger it. The path is set from "Select Target Folder" Function. I have no entry point for Convert Path.

What version are you using? I think there was an issue with this in older Browse dialogs but it must be fixed in the current version.

I am using InstallAware 9 R2 (Build Moya.051309). The problem is that the path is displayed in short representation right after returning from browse dialog, so I have no possibility to change it before user can see it.
Seems that something went wrong with my R2 installation, I still have the old version...I will try to reinstall

Yeah, that's not the latest version - you are not actually using 9 R2 but just 9, and an old version of it. This was fixed in later versions of 9 and remains fixed in 9 R2.

It's a free upgrade So just upgrade.

Now I know the problem with my version. I installed the R2 and startet trial > now I have IA R2. But after I installed the Licensing Tool (IA activation) I have IA9 version mentioned above. Do we need a new activation tool?

Yes, you regenerate and reinstall your license file any time you upgrade.

Yes now it is okay. It was a communication problem within our company. We now have generated a new activater and now also the bug with the browse dialog disappeared.
