Remove SQLExpress Source?

I have my SQLExpress installation working the way I want but there is an issue during the uninstall procedure. Under add / remove programs there is a MyProgram/SQL section and a Microsoft SQL Server section. If I go into the MS SQL and click remove and then specify MyProgram instance the uninstall works well. If I try to use the MyProgram section a message pops up asking for the path to the source. It's confusing my customers and they hate me. Please show me some love. Thanks
