Hi,

can someone tell me what ports has to be excluded by the firewall to enable web-updates? We normally have no problams but one customer with a special firewall from german Telekom has the problem that he cannot download the update. Downloading the updates.ini works, but not the exe itself. Is it possible that they has to open another port?

Web updates work with FTP, HTTP and HTTPS. You may have to examine your IIS settings to determine any special configurations you might have.

Is the customer getting any errors in firewall logs?

We are waiting for the firewall log. Do you mean the IIS configuration of the customer? What has this to do with the download?

No, I was referring to the settings on the server that's serving the installer. I don't really think that should be an issue, though. I have a feeling the customer's firewall is blocking the exe...

Yes I think so too, because this is actual the only customer that has the problem. The updates.ini could be downloaded.
We will wait for the firewall.log and settings.
