Determine Install Media

Is there a way to determine the install media at compile time? I would like to be able to exclude a few files and commands from my compressed single exe installation and include them in my cd based installation. I poked around with compiler variables but couldn't figure it out...

Compiler variable BUILDMODE: CD if the deployment type is Uncompressed Directory Layout, SFX if the deployment type is Compressed Single Self-Installing EXE, WEB if the deployment type is Compressed Web-Based EXE, PATCH if a patch is being built.
