MessageBalloon timer.

I've added a MessageBalloon to my script and I set the timer to 60 seconds. For some reason, the balloon does not stay visible for the full length of time and almost seems to fade out the moment I dismiss the first dialog in the interview sequence. Is there some behaviour about MessageBalloon that explains why the timer does not run the full length? I'm using Win7 if that's significant.
What I want to do is to display a balloon at the start of the interview as I want to convey some important information and then when the installation is complete I'd then discard the balloon.

I'm not sure how the balloon tips are controlled in Vista/7, but they seem to depend on mouse-movement (and the timer set by IA is ignored). You can set the timeout to 10 and wave your mouse over the tip all day long and it will never disappear.
I'm not sure if we'll be able to affect the behavior. Not sure how the timeout length is [pre]defined by Windows (registry?) or whether we could programmatically feed mouse moves to it.
This was hopeful, but I was only really able to eliminate the fade in/out:

Andy, I suspected there was something in Windoze that does the final arbitration on the timer. I'll use it as a nicety and if the user does not heed the information it contains then what more can I do?

You could include the info on a dialog, maybe like a EULA (we know how often those are read

).
Note that many people dislike and turn off the balloon tips altogether.
