I have just moved from having Evaluation Release 9 on a Windows 7 running an on a test system to running the newly purchased InstallAware v10 again on Win 7 Professional but running .NET Framework V4.0.30319. I now find that when attempting to introduce an assembly file , to be regasm'd and edited to install in the $TARGETDIR$, a messagebox entitled User Account Control and saying " Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?" where the program name is gacnet20x.exe. Whether you reply 'Yes' or 'No' the files name is change to "System.IO.FileNotFoundException:The network name cannot be found (Exception from HRESULT:0x80070043). Can you offer a solution?

How are you setting up IA to handle the assembly? Are you using the designer or code? Are you calling regasm using Run Program? Are you using the Install Assembly or Register Assembly commands?

Could you provide a code sample or submit a sample project, where I can test with an assembly of my own?

Andy,
These assemblies were previously in a successful build using Rel 9 (Evaluation) and have been introduced the same way simply in ' Design' with the Regasm check box ticked and then each of the two wrapper files are edited to deploy these to the &TARGETDIR$. Will Email a zip of the project and these two files (38kb in total).
