Problem with install sql server 2008 Express

Hi. I wanna install sql server 2008 express, that i checked the sql server 2008 express Sp1 in runtime application. But when i compile the project and run,don't action and sql server don't installed.in this project, i add a file to project and checked the runtime application.this file copied to desktop but when install the sql server do anything until terminate the project.

When you run the installer, does it display as a pre

req?
If so, do you get an error?
If not, is it already installed?
If you have a suitable edition, you can try to debug or add messageboxes to determine what's going on.

no,don't display this page.After copying files,system do anything and sql server not installed.
In debug mode,insert breakpoint on install sql server script, when setup stopped on this point and i press step over,system do anything and sql server not installed.I do receive any error message. I've waiting for 30 minute but do anything.
After this time,terminate setup.

Is there any SQL server installed ahead of time?
Are you able to install SQL through its installer or command line?

I've installed 2 instance of sql server (2000,2008).
I can install with command prompt or Sql server installer, but cannot install with my setup/

How does the successful command line run compare to the line in the setupSQL script:
Set Variable SQL2008R2_COMMAND_LINE_X86 to /q /ACTION=Install /SECURITYMODE=SQL /SAPWD="Sq1S#rv$r" /INSTANCENAME="SQLEXPRESS" /FEATURES=SQLEngine,Replication,SDK /SQLSVCACCOUNT="NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE" /SQLSYSADMINACCOUNTS="$SQL_COMPUTER_NAME$\$SQL_USER_NAME$" /IAcceptSQLServerLicenseTerms=TRUE
You may need to modify that to suit your needs. You can edit the MSIcode or go through the OPTIONS button in the runtimes view...

I had lots of problems with sql server, and what I did was I downloaded the latest sql server setup from microsoft and replaced existing setup in IADIR.

That reminds me, there was an issue installing SQL Server 2008 Express with IA 9x that's been resolved in IA 10.
