IIS: Default Website stopped, Applicationpool issue

Dear InstallAware Support Team,

I am encountering the following problems:
In the IA project I define to install 3 IIS virtual directories with the following virtual paths:
VirtualDirectory1
VirtualDirectory1\SubVirtualDirectory1
VirtualDirectory1\SubVirtualDirectory2

All of them with the Site Index '1'.

1.) Whenever I install our project on IIS6+ the Default Web Site stops and if I try to start there is an error occuring 'Value does not fall within the expected range.'
If I doubleclick on the SubVirtualDirectories in the IIS manager, then the message 'The application XXX does not exist.' shows up.
I am wondering what is happening here. Does the installer have problems to add virtual directories hierarchically in IIS6?

2.) In each of my Virtual Directories in the IA project I defined an application pool which has to be created / used. I also set the ASP.NET version to 4.0.
However, it's created but unfortunately in the wrong version (2.0).

If you need any further information about my settings in the IA project, please let me know.

Thank you
ravz

Dear ravz,

Even though you are using IIS 6, we made some fixes to InstallAware's IIS mechanism - please regenerate and reinstall your license and let me know if that helped.

Still the exact same issues.
That's what I did:
- I reinstalled IA via 'Repair / Reinstall'.
- I run the licensing .exe
- I open my IA project and release a new web release
- I install these files on my client

Do I have to do something else to upgrade my product?

EDIT: I tried to reinstall IA by removing it completely and downloading it again. But now the installer is password protected...

Dear ravz,

Which version of InstallAware are you using? Are you evaluating InstallAware or do you have a license?

Dear ravz,

Just download the latest version from here:
http://www.installaware.com/downloads-p ... nloads.htm
Then go to your account (www.installaware.com/myinstallaware) and regenerate and re-download your license.
Install your newly downloaded InstallAware 10.10 with your new license. Let me know how it went!

After reinstalling and regenerating still exact the same issues.

Dear ravz,

Could you please send your project to support at installaware.com?
Does your Default Web Site have an SSL binding? If yes, what is it's value?
