Windows fails to start after installation

Hello,

I have upgraded from version 8 to version 10 (build Mooya.rtm.51110).
I had an installation program that was written in version 8.
I have opened it, made some changed, and recompiled it in version 10.

When I tried to run the installation program on Windows Vista, The installation program runs successfully and prints a message that the installation was completed successfully.
But after rebooting the computer, windows fails to start! It also fails to start in safe mode, so I had to reinstall Windows.
It happened three times on two different computer, both of them had windows Vista installed.

Have you ever encountered this problem?
I attached my installtion project and exe.

Thanks,
Avia

Dear Avia,

After a few days with numerous tests on different machines, I am unable to reproduce your problem.
I used the EXE you attached and it NEVER caused Windows to fail. Could this be something specific to your test machine?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your tests.
I couldn't figure out the reason for this problem.
I upgraded to version 10 in order to include vc++ runtime 10 in the installation.
Eventually I went back to version 8 and installed the vc++ runtime 10 by running an executable.
This works fine now.
Thanks,
Avia

Dear Avia,

I am sorry that we were not able to figure this one out, however I am happy you are able to work around it.
