InstallAware

Hello,

Are there any plans for easier XML file edits/ updates. I keep hearing "use the edit file plug-in," but I'm talking real support for Insert, replace or remove elements and attributes in XML files and the ability to search in XML files and return the values of elements, attributes or text nodes.

Thanks,

Chris.

Actually, Chris, we are working on XML support as we speak. It will probably be available with InstallAware 11 and I cannot give you a timeframe, but it is definitely being worked on!

Oh Joy!

Good to know! I guess meanwhile I'll be writing it by hand...

Thanks for the initiative, guys.
