Changing product name, missing language selection dialog

I have a project in IA9 which has multiple installer languages. The language selection dialog is popped up just fine when running the installation.
Now I need to change the installer Product Name.
If I change that, the language selection dialog no longer pops up, and the LANGUAGE variable is not set.
How do I get the translations to work again?

It shouldn't matter as long as you have the Show Language Selection Dialog checked - do you?

Yes, that is checked.
It seems that the translations get lost when changing the product name - if I changed it back, the translations were back.
I had to re-import them using the localizer wizard and then it worked.
