Problem with XP, Unable to copy installation data

Hello,
my IA 11 web Setup runs fine in Windows 7 and Server 2008.
Today I tried to install on Windows XP SP3.
After starting the wizard and extracting the files the wizard began to install.
After some seconds the installation fails with message:

"Unable to copy installation data to local folders"

What I have figured out:
In the wizard startmenu dialogue you can choose Shortcut for
All users or
Current user only

If you choose "All users" setup runs fine without problems.
If you choose "Current user only" you get the error above.

In Vista or Win7 I have no problems

What causes this error and how can you manage this in Windows XP?
regards
Hansjoerg

Dear Hansjoerg,

Could you please try creating a setup from the Basic Setup template and trying it on the XP machine?
I have a feeling that this is caused by a plugin you are using..

Dear Aviv
sorry for the late reply
I tries to install a sample project on Win XP and Installation runs without the message

"Unable to copy installation data"

In my project I only use the EditFile plugin

any idea how to find out what cause the message?

Could you try commenting out the use of that specific plugin and seeing if that makes a difference?
