Not a valid Win32 Application

I have read around about this problem here on the boards, and I tried to follow others steps. I have removed my custom icon, and it still will not resolve.
I am trying to compile as a single installer. This is a very large project, 4.71GB.
I did not see any size limitations when I was spending a very large amount of time reviewing InstallAware.
Can a project this size be packaged in at this size? Will I have to created an uncompressed directory/DVD build? Or is there something else I am not catching?
Thanks for the information in advance.

Hi,
You should be able to compress your files. Which file system are you using?

Can you elaborate on what information you need in regards to the file system?
I want to give you a proper answer.
For a generic answer, I am using NTFS. If there is anything else you need on this answer let me know.

Yes NTFS was the answer I was looking for. Which OS are you running?

Hey guys,
Could you please provide us with more information about your systems?
I tested this with a 4.5 GB single-file installer on a x64 Windows 7 and it worked just fine for me - thanks!

This is my current setup:
Dell XPS L702X
------------------------
1. Intel Core i7-2620M CPU @ 2.70 GHZ
2. 8GB DDR3 RAM
3. 1TB Hard Drive
4. NVIDIA GeForce GT555M
This is a brand new computer, and is used for software development.
In this case, everything builds properly, but just throws this error when I try to run the installer. It is very pertinent that we fix this as soon as possible.
Please let me know if there is anything else you need.
Thanks
Edit: According to binary mathematics, I would assume that a 32-bit application would need to be less than 4GB without support files. It needs to allocate that much memory at runtime, and from a 32-bit perspective, this does not calculate. Are there options to compress the files within CAB, or BIN files within an uncompressed layout?

I was able to create a single-file 32 bit installer that deploys a file size of 4.5 GB and did not encounter the error.
Which OS's are you seeing this on?

I am seeing this on Windows 7. I will test the installer on another operating system if need be, but for development purposes, I would hope Windows 7 would be compatible. I did try to run in compatibility mode as well.
I reduced the size of the installation, and it worked perfectly. But of course, this cannot be the case. I was pondering the thought of just creating multiples installers and have each one blindly install in the backend, but that kind of defeats the purpose of this task, which is creating one central installer for all components of an application.

Could you please describe the files you are trying to write? How many are there and what is their size?

I am currently packaging a simulation application for the department of defense. Due to the nature of this project, I must keep details to a minimum. It consists of 3D models/textures, so on and so forth. The installer has been done before in InnoSetup, but I need to make a smarter installation for this particular software. We chose InstallAware, and I want to make sure this was a choice worth making. We have goals and requirements, and we need to meet them. We saw reviews on this solution and went forward with purchase with the knowledge that this is what we needed for a time-efficient solution. I must say everything works as expected besides this one problem. I want to thank you for your time as well, but we need to get this resolved.

I understand. How many files are you installing and how big are they?

4,754 files at about 10GB total

loganlehman, you said that you reduced the size of the installation and it worked - what reduction was necessary to make this work?
