Wrapping WPF applications

Hi,

This is a question about the trialware wrapping. Not sure if the InstallAware team can help me out, but even if not, some user might have had a similar problem.

Installing our .NET application works fine. Web deployment, patching, customized dialogs, all as we want it.
Now I wrapped the .exe of the installed product to create a trial for our beta phase.
After the successful installation, I get the correct pop-up, which tells the user that he has the trial version. However, when I click through the dialog then, I get the error "Exception has been thrown by the target on an invocation".
Unfortunately quite vague, so I haven't managed to find any answer on the net (and the fact that InstallAware itself comes as a trial doesn't make the Google search easier ;)).

We tried to single out the problem and believe that it's caused because of our WPF code. Wrapping a simple C++ application worked. Can you confirm this? Are there known work-arounds?
InstallAware advertises the DRM protection to be .NET compatible: http://installaware.com/digital-rights-management.htm
Today I found what Softwrap says: "At present we are finalising development of a fully automated .NET wrapping system but in the meantime, if you require this format file to be wrapped, please contact your Softwrap representative." (https://www.softwrap.com/faq.aspx?Categ ... #faqitem12)
What is correct?

Thanks.

Hi,

Could you please provide us with a reproducing example?

I can't share our project code as it's confidential and not obfuscated yet.
But it fails for even the simplest WPF program, it seems. So our devs created an example:

In the \bin\release folder, you'll find both the unwrapped and the wrapped version.
The unwrapped one works (= opens a new window, that's all for this example).
The wrapped one throws the exception.
